Everything you need to track your reading is free. Premium adds a deeper Stats tab (top authors, monthly and yearly trends, an activity heatmap, a leaderboard of your most reread fics) and full visual personalization (custom tag colors, custom cover icons, any accent color you like, community themes).
Using a fic's URL, we can fetch its details automatically for AO3, FanFiction.net, FictionPress, and several forum sites (SpaceBattles, Sufficient Velocity, and Questionable Questing). If a site is not supported, like Wattpad or Tumblr, you can always add the fic by hand.
No. We will never ask for your AO3 password, or the password for any other site. Importing only ever needs a fic's public link. We are not connected to AO3 or any other site, and cannot see your account there.
Fic details are shared by everyone on the site and come from the original source. If a fic from AO3, FanFiction.net, or a supported forum looks out of date, use Refresh metadata on its page to pull the latest details. Fics you added by hand, you can edit yourself anytime. If something still looks wrong, use Report on the fic page and choose "Wrong metadata" and a moderator will take a look.
Set a status (TBR, Reading, Re-reading, Waiting, Read, or DNF) and your current chapter. Each reread is counted separately, so your stats reflect every time through a fic.
Custom collections you build to organize your library however you like. Each shelf can be public or private.
You control it. Your profile, your shelves, and your reading activity each have their own visibility settings, and your log stays private unless you choose to share it. Account details like your email are never shown to other users.
By default, mature and explicit fics still show in search and lists, but only their title, author, and rating. Their tags and summary stay hidden, and they are left out of your friends feed. Turn on "Show mature & explicit content" in your Preferences to see everything. It is intended for adult users.
Yes, from Edit Profile on your profile page or from your account settings. There is a cooldown between changes (currently about six months), so pick one you are happy with.
You can delete your account at any time from your account settings, which removes your data. Premium users can also export their full reading log as a CSV from the account page.
