Who can use Headcanon Hub

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to form a binding agreement where you live, to use Headcanon Hub. During this early preview, creating an account also requires an invite.

You are responsible for activity on your account. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider, Clerk; keep your login secure and let us know if you think your account has been compromised.

Acceptable use

Use the site in good faith. In particular, do not:

• Break, overload, scrape, or try to bypass the security of the service.
• Harass, threaten, impersonate, or harm other users.
• Post content that is illegal, or that you do not have the right to post.
• Use the site to distribute spam, malware, or bulk-export other people’s data.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you add: your reviews, notes, shelf names and descriptions, and profile text. By posting it, you grant us a limited license to store and display it so we can run the service for you and, where you have made something public, show it to others.

You are responsible for the content you add, and we may remove anything that breaks these terms or the law.

Fics and shared records

Headcanon Hub tracks and links to fics that are hosted on other sites. We store metadata about a work (such as its title, author, summary, and tags) and your personal reading log, but not the story text itself.

Fic records are shared across all users, so they are not edited per person; you can propose corrections through the suggest-an-edit or report tools. If you are an author and want your work removed from the index, contact us.

Copyright and takedowns

If you believe content on Headcanon Hub infringes your copyright, email us at contact@headcanonhub.com with enough detail to identify the work and where it appears. We review notices, remove infringing material where appropriate, and may disable accounts of repeat infringers.

Premium and billing

The core tracker is free. A Premium tier unlocks additional features.

Once paid billing is introduced, the applicable pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms will be presented to you before you are charged.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms or that put the service or its users at risk. You can delete your own account at any time from your account settings, which removes your data.

Disclaimers and liability

Headcanon Hub is provided on an as-is and as-available basis, without warranties of any kind. The site is under active development and may change, have downtime, or lose data during this preview.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site evolves. We will update the date above when we do, and continuing to use Headcanon Hub after a change means you accept the revised terms.
