Headcanon Hub is in active development. The full Privacy Policy is still being drafted. In the meantime, here's what we can tell you about how the site handles data today.

What we store today

  • Your email and account credentials (passwords are hashed, never stored in plain text)
  • Your reading log, shelves, and notes — visible only to you unless you make them public
  • Your preferences and privacy settings
  • Standard request logs (timestamps, IP, user-agent) for debugging and abuse protection

Third-party content

Cover images you add are loaded directly from the source host, which means that host sees your IP when the image renders. We're working on an image proxy so covers can be served from our own domain.

  • Data we collect, why, and how long we keep it
  • Cookies and similar tracking
  • Sub-processors (hosting, email delivery, analytics)
  • How to export or delete your data
  • Regional rights (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and how to exercise them
